Project Management Officer (m/f/gn)

On behalf of our customer in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, we are looking as soon as possible for a Project Management Officer (m/f/gn).

Our customer was founded and established as a subsidiary in Hamburg in June 2008. Based on over 20 years of experience in the aeronautical business they offer all subcontracted work-packages on aircraft or aircraft components performed by our customer teams in client's facilities in mechanic, structural, electric and cabin activities.

Main missions:

Set project standards:

  • Build up a common set of practices, principles and templates for managing projects
  • Gather, challenge and implement requirements for each reports (KPI, frequency…)
  • Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in project management
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete
  • Ensure that the tools developed can be used for the other AAA GmbH projects

Ensure implementation of the standards:

  • Present the tools to the different parties
  • Ensure required data are available and process to get them is known
  • Ensure all required data a correctly and timely entered into system
  • Feedback of findings into the standard definition
  • Contributes to the flow of communication within the team, by actively participating in team meetings
  • Interact with external customer to ensure validation of reports contents
  • Identifying opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste

Reporting:

  • Prepare periodical reports for internal and external customers (PRM, burn down curves)
  • Track and moderate 8D Analysis
  • Ensure SQCDP data are generated and reported as required
  • Implement visual management according to team need (KPI, A/C location)
  • Support generation of Delivery Notes

Responsibilities and authority regarding quality:

  • Apply the QSE management system
  • Respect processes & procedures
  • Ensure that the FOD and safety rules are fulfilled
  • Wear the required PPE and use the appropriate tools (calibration & validity)
  • Participate to common goals and targets

Pre-requisites –profile:

  • Proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management
  • Experience with Airbus Production and Quality methods and norms
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Able to create accurate and synthetic reports to management levels
  • Autonomy to propose new solutions and improvement
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups (internal as well as external)
  • Responds willingly to change, adaptable, flexible
  • Remains productive when the demands of work may pull in different directions
  • Ability to work and lead in a rapidly changing and expanding environment while keeping long term goals in sight
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks, set priorities and manage to critical deadlines
  • Ability to analyze and provide creative, innovative solutions for complex problems
  • Proficient with MS Office
